I’ve Created a Reading Journal!

Hey y’all!

I’m super excited because I’ve just made a reading journal for your reading needs. I’ve been looking to grow my brand and to begin offering bookish products and so my reading journal is the first product of many that I am excited about offering. I take that back, I’ve already self-published a book but this is like my first step in making actual products for people to buy.

When I was thinking of creating products, I wanted something that was aligned with things that I’m passionate about and seeing as how I love books, making bookish items seemed like the way to go! The first product for my new business venture is a reading journal. If you’re not sure what that is, it’s basically like a reading tracker and you can log in the books you read, what you thought of it, how many stars you’d give it, etc. Different journals offer different elements and since this is my first one, I wanted something a little basic.

For my journal, I have space for six books a month and I have space for each month for you to write details in the book. I have a TBR list in the front of the book and in the very back I have 30 reading prompts to help you read different kinds of books from books written by BIPOC authors to books written in a country that you’d like to visit. When I went on Etsy to see what other people were offering, their reading journals were like 20 pages…mine is almost 100 pages! All for $10!!!

I wanted to sell it on Amazon like my current book, however, I didn’t want to get in trouble with Kindle Publishing because they don’t like it when you make “empty” books and some people actually had their account shut down because of it so I just said that I’d make a downloadable file for you (the customers) to print out. A lot of love and hard work went into creating this journal and I cannot wait for more people to find it and use it! It’s perfect as a gift for any bookworm friend that you may have or for your own reading needs.

I’m really excited to embark on this new journey. I have plans for this year and as the year goes on, I will reveal more!

If there’s something that been on your heart, take a chance and go for it (strategically).
