Hey y’alll!
This is such a super quick post and it’s I guess to hold myself accountable. Not gonna lie, when I reached out to my bestie Nkem (a fellow blogger over at For Tha Masses and childhood bff) this morning and told her my plans and to see how each other were doing, she encouraged me to let you all in on the madness that is my brain.
I have a couple of projects that I’m working on and I decided to take a page out of Sarah Ordo’s book. I admire her so much and I just love how when she has an idea for something, she doesn’t just sit on it. She gets it done and just starts whenever the idea comes to her. Instead of being like oh I have this idea and then do nothing and sitting on it, I’m decided to just do it (in the words of Shia Labuef).
So yesterday, it was in my spirit to just write and I told myself, I’m gonna work on my book that I’ve been “working” on for the past two years. I want to finish it and get it published. Then like a week or two ago, I felt it in my spirit to tell my life story. Just to get it out there. I mean, you never know who it will help. My autobiography will be more like my blog posts but on a more deeper level or more expanded. Thats how Cara Alwill Leyba explained how she writes. She takes her blog posts and just expands on them.
So there! I put it out there in the universe. I’m going to finish my novel and then write my autobiography by next year. It doesn’t hurt that today is 11/11 which is such a great and powerful day for manifesting. I always see the numbers 11:11 like all the time and its great for letting you know that things are aligned for you.
If there is something in your spirit that you want to do, don’t sit on it. Just do it! Put it in motion. You never know where things will lead you. Btw, Cara Alwill Leyba has a brand new book out today called Girl On Fire (woohoo) and I think you should check it out. It’s great for women who are tired of holding themselves back and blaze their own trail. You can find it here on amazon. If you liked Girl Code, you’re gonna love this one!
Anyway, I hope you all have a great rest of your day!
XOXO,
